What time does the service start? We start at 10am
What do I need to wear? Well, please do wear clothes--but beyond that, we don't have a dress code. Our church has folks from a variety of economic backgrounds and church backgrounds, and so "church clothes" can mean different things to different people. We'll be glad to see you as you are, and pray that our time together in the Lord's presence will be edifying to us all.
What is the service like? Our service is fairly structured, and is characterized by attention to the Word of God. We read the Bible, pray the Bible, preach the Bible, and sing the Bible. We enact the central story of the Bible (the gospel of Jesus Christ) through the ordinances Jesus gave: baptism and the Lord's supper. You can expect substantial amounts of Bible reading (some of it responsive), 5 (or so) hymns or worship songs, several prayers, and a sermon that will last for around half of an hour. The whole service typically lasts 60-75 minutes.
The atmosphere is not one where we take ourselves too seriously--but we do want to be a church that takes God very seriously.
